The Sun Came Up
This is not a political post.
Yesterday, November 5, 2024, marked a significant day—election day in the United States.
From the moment I was old enough to vote, I have been captivated by the presidential election process. It’s been a remarkable experience to watch how various states cast their votes. Back in the 1990s, we didn’t have access to the extensive data we have now.
As I went to bed last night, no winner had been announced. Yet, as I closed my eyes and entered into prayer, I was filled with a profound sense of hope, confident that the sun would rise today. And it did.
Every new day is a chance for us to spread our hope, love, and gratitude. Regardless of whether you are feeling joy or disappointment about the election results, it’s essential to maintain hope and gratitude for the privilege of voting and having our voices heard.
As the holiday season approaches, I encourage you to embrace hope, love, and gratitude in everything you do!
In gratitude for the light of a new day!
